Cookie Notice

1.What cookies are#
Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help a website function and remember your preferences. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, work in the same way.
2.Cookies we use#
Sali uses a small number of first-party cookies. “sali-session” keeps you signed in and maintains your session; “XSRF-TOKEN” protects forms against cross-site request forgery; “appearance” remembers your light or dark theme; and “sidebar_state” remembers whether the dashboard sidebar is open. The session and security cookies are strictly necessary; the appearance and sidebar cookies are preferences.
3.Analytics and advertising cookies (consent only)#
On our public marketing site we use two third-party tools, and only if you allow them. Google Analytics measures how the site is used and sets cookies such as “_ga” and “_gid”, sharing your visit with Google. The Meta Pixel measures our advertising and sets cookies such as “_fbp”, sharing your visit with Meta. You can allow analytics and marketing separately. Neither loads until you choose “Accept” in our cookie banner — nothing is set beforehand, and choosing “Reject” means they are never loaded. Your choice is remembered in a first-party cookie (“sali_cookie_consent”) for six months, and you can change or withdraw it anytime via “Cookie settings” in the footer. If we add a new tool later, we will ask you again.
4.Where these cookies never apply#
Analytics and advertising cookies run on our marketing site only. We never place them on event registration pages (including agencies’ own custom domains), on client report links, or inside the signed-in dashboard.
5.Check-in app storage#
The check-in app stores your sign-in token and, for offline use, a per-event guest snapshot in your browser’s local storage and IndexedDB rather than in cookies. This data is cleared when you log out and expires automatically. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6.Managing cookies#
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer of our marketing site to review, change, or withdraw your consent at any time. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using core features.
7.Changes#
We may update this Cookie Notice and will post the revised version with a new “last updated” date.
